Sharni Vison is an Australian American dancer/actor, was born on July 22 of 1983, in Sydney Australia. Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was asked to be part of the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she was a minor character in two episodes. Her performance in that limited character was so impressive that the agent who cast the show requested her to play the main roles in the series. Although she did try out for the role, she was not chosen. The role was instead set in the show in the role of Cassie Turner, a young troubled girl who lives with foster parents. As a baby, her dad nurtured her acting abilities. She was hired as an acting coach when she was only six years old. The actress eventually began getting parts in series like The Love Boat T.J. Hooker and Fantasy Island. Her fame began to rise at the age of 17 after she was given a major role as Donna Martin in the commercially popular show Beverly Hills 90210. Spelling Television (her father's production company) produced the series. In connection with this show the show, she was nominated for 2 Young Artist Awards. In the following years, she was a very successful TV actress. The credits she has received comprise A Friend to Die For (released in 1994), A Carol Christmas (released in 2003) as well as The Last Sharknado 2018: It's about Time.
